Preparation before Walking Test


Leg Length Measurement
1) Leg length measurement were done for both legs
- Measured 3 times per leg for accuracy and recorded as the average of 3 measurements
2) Length taken from the anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS) to the medial malleolus in supine with legs in neutral position
- Measuring tape placed immediately distal to ASIS and immediately distal to medial malleolus
- Subjects were to be rejected if there was a leg length discrepancy of >2cm between the leg and right leg
3) Average length of both legs were then taken

After Walking Test
Short debrief session was conducted at the end of the walking test to:
Thank the subjects for their participation
Emphasise on the confidentiality of all data that was collected
